Then, and by chance, he found a beautiful town called Carboneras, a small fishing village and a esparto factory and he thought it was the perfect place to build the city of Aca, for the filming of his film. There, on the dry river, they built a city bigger than Carboneras. He fell so in love with this area that he decided to build the Hotel, a place of residence that he would share many years with David Lean.
